2014.5.3 礼拝

LC Message-Connected with Jesus-John 15:1-11 Please take care to participate in the weekday small groups just as Sundays. Challenge to go and not to focus on coming. The children have no Christian friends in their schools. Let's pray and move forward in sharing the Gospel with our friends and those around us. Let's memorize John 15:5. - This verse says "apart from me you can do nothing". What do you think? We begin to learn how much our parents have done for us later on in life. There are times in our lives that we begin to realize how much we need God. Actually, we need Him for all things. We just don't know it and we don't acknowledge it. ---------- There is the challenge of Children growing up in a Christian home. Some time children become accustomed to hearing the stories and teachings of the Bible. Sometimes the Word of God and the church loses its freshness and impact on the kids of a Christian home. God's message is fresh and has impact for a lost world. When we introduce Gods Word and plan to the lost people around us, they may find it to be exactly what they want and need. It's important for us to Abide in Jesus. That is a sure way to stay fresh. 1. Discerning knowledge of the head and knowledge that comes from experience. 1 Corinthians 8:1-2 – Food Offered to Idols About food offered to idols: We know that “we all have knowledge.” Knowledge inflates with pride, but love builds up. If anyone thinks he knows anything, he does not yet know it as he ought to know it. Need to be careful of a little knowledge. It tends to puff up and deceive. James 1:21-26 – Therefore, ridding yourselves of all moral filth and evil, humbly receive the implanted word, which is able to save you., But be doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. Because if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man looking at his own face in a mirror. For he looks at himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. But the one who looks intently into the perfect law of freedom and perseveres in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but one who does good works — this person will be blessed in what he does. If anyone thinks he is religious without controlling his tongue, then his religion is useless and he deceives himself. We have to step out and try. No matter how much we know, if we don't step out and try something we will never know. In order to "do" we need the church. Small groups and other programs in Life Church provide the platform for "doing" the Christian life. 2. In the same way we are in Christ's Love we need to be involved and encourage one another. John 15:9 – Christlike Love “As the Father has loved Me, I have also loved you. Remain in My love. John 13:14 – So if I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet. Pray for the pastor. He needs to do as much as others. No matter how much you know, in the end the pastor has to do just like everyone. Only God can carry the responsibility of someone to the end. We might be disappointed no matter how hard we try to help someone. In the end, it is between them and God.

There is the challenge of Children growing up in a Christian home. Some time children become accustomed to hearing the stories and teachings of the Bible. Sometimes the Word of God and the church loses its freshness and impact on the kids of a Christian home.
God’s message is fresh and has impact for a lost world. When we introduce Gods Word and plan to the lost people around us, they may find it to be exactly what they want and need.
It’s important for us to Abide in Jesus. That is a sure way to stay fresh.
1. Discerning knowledge of the head and knowledge that comes from experience.
1 Corinthians 8:1-2 – Food Offered to Idols
About food offered to idols: We know that “we all have knowledge.” Knowledge inflates with pride, but love builds up. If anyone thinks he knows anything, he does not yet know it as he ought to know it.
Need to be careful of a little knowledge. It tends to puff up and deceive.
James 1:21-26 – Therefore, ridding yourselves of all moral filth and evil, humbly receive the implanted word, which is able to save you.,
But be doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. Because if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man looking at his own face in a mirror. For he looks at himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. John 15:9 – Christlike Love
“As the Father has loved Me, I have also loved you.
