2017.11.26 Colossians 3:13 “Creating good service that pleases God”
Worship should not be an obligation but voluntary.

In order to have a good service
➀ Rid yourself of hypocrisy
Colossians 3:13 Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
People have likes and dislikes but will act with smiles to hide dislikes (especially, to maintain fair business relationships). God is pleased with our love and forgiving of others, therefore, it is important to take God’s viewpoint.

Matthew 5:23-24 23 “Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you, 24 leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to your brother; then come and offer your gift.

Psalms 51: 16-17 16 You do not delight in sacrifice, or I would bring it; you do not take pleasure in burnt offerings. 17 The sacrifices of God are broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.

・Don’t hide your sinfulness
・Don’t act as though you were godly
・Listen and accept the Word obediently
・Believe in God’s forgiveness
・Believe in forgiveness of brothers and sisters
・Forgive the brothers and sisters

Hebrews 10:17-19 17 Then he adds: “Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more.” 18 And where these have been forgiven, there is no longer any sacrifice for sin. 19 Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus,

➁ Our Most Holy Play is “Peace of Christ”
Colossians 3;15 Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.

Hebrews 10:19-20 19 Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, 20 by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body and since we have a great priest over the house of God.

God has already sacrificed Jesus for our sins and any other sacrificial offerings make no sense to God except our unity in the body of Christ sharing our difficulties and sins and forgiving one another.
