300th Life Church Service

It has been a blessing for Life Church having the pleasure of welcoming the mission team from Grace Point Church in San Antonio, Texas.

It has also become a happy reunion with Jose and Miki Medina who are serving Grace Point Church with Japanese members and people in the community. Life Church has been encouraged by the testimonies from Jay Hong and Nick Lanata as well as the fellowships held with each member of the team. Their advice and suggestions are also a great encouragement to our members of Life Church.

We wish to express our sincere appreciation to the mission team and Grace Point Church.

2017.7.9 Ephesians 4:11-16 “Having the Right Perspective for your Walk with Christ”

➀ Knowing that the goal of evangelism and mission is not only leading someone to Christ, but “building up the body of Christ” together.

Ephesians 4:12 For the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ;

The actual vision of “the body of Christ” is

Acts 2:42 They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.

Acts 2:46-47 46 Day by day continuing with one mind in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they were taking their meals together with gladness and sincerity of heart, 47 praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord was adding to their number day by day those who were being saved.

➁　Thinking why I should do it, rather than what I should do.

Ephesians 4:12 For the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ;

Ephesians 4:13 Until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ.

Ephesians 4:16 From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.
