2018.01.07 Romans 12:1-8 “Obtaining proactive walk in Christ.”

Entrusting in God with faith is essential, however, it does not mean we should just sit and wait without making any efforts. God has already shown us the way when we were called. Abraham was called to leave his birthplace to a place God planned. He acted without question of minute instructions.

Joshua 24:15 …But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD

➀ Value the proactive decision.

Romans 12:2 Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

・Are you postponing the action to solve a problem or not taking action proactively and expect that God will solve the problem.

・Do you know that God expects you to utilize your intelligence (gifted from God) and make all efforts.

・There is a great difference between “seeking God’s will” and “waiting without efforts.”

Joshua 24:15 But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, ・・・. But as for me and my household, we will serve LORD
