2018.3.11 335th Life Church Service Luke 12:41-48 “Accepting the Lordship of Christ.”
Being “faithful” is closely related to “faith” and “loyalty”
The “growth of faith” we should seek should be to have faith in God ⇒ to be faithful to the assigned “mission” and “responsibility” from God.
Luke 12:42 “Who then is the faithful and sensible steward?”
➀ Your faith could be measured by your relationship with your neighbors.
Luke 12:42 The Lord answered, “Who then is the faithful and wise manager, whom the master puts in charge of his servants to give them their food allowance at the proper time?
Luke 12:45 But suppose the servant says to himself, ‘My master is taking a long time in coming,’ and he then begins to beat the menservants and maidservants and to eat and drink and get drunk.
Some cause that hinder your growth in faith,

Galatians 5:22-23 22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23gentlemness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
➁ Understanding your mission and responsibility clearly.
Luke 12:47 “That servant who knows his master’s will and does not get ready or does not do what his master wants will be beaten with many blows.
Putting your faithfulness into practice the body of Christ
Hebrews 3:6 but Christ was faithful as a Son over His house – whose house we are, if we hold fast our confidence and the boast of our hope firm until the end.
Matthew 22:37-39 37Jesus replied “’Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ 38This is the first and greatest commandment.
Matthew 22:39-40 39And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40All the law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
