2018.4.1 Easter Service Romans 10:9-13 “Hope in the resurrection of Christ”

➀ Because Christ’s death on the cross is an evidence of Jesus’s love for us.

John 15:13 “Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends.

Ephesians 5:2 and walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma.

➁ Because Christ’s death on the cross is an evidence of God’s love for us.

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.

Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 8:32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things?

➂ Because “the resurrection of Jesus” an evidence that Jesus is God.

Romans 6:9 knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, is never to die again; death no longer is master over Him.

Philippians 2:8-11 8Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. 9For this reason also, God highly exalted Him and bestowed on Him the name which is over every name. 10so that at the name of Jesus EVERY KNEE WILL BOW, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth. 11and that very tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father.

④ Because “the resurrection of Jesus” is evidence of our eternal life.

Romans 6:5 For if we have become united with Him in the likeness of His death, certainly we shall also be in the likeness of His resurrection.

⑤ Because all these evidences are the basis of our faith.

Romans 10:9 That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

・Would you believe it to be an evidence of love and have faith in a person who would not give his life for you?

・Would you entrust your life and spirit to one who is unable to overcome his “death” and acknowledge and as God?

・Can you trust a verbal promise without firm grounds as God’s words?
